Introduction:

Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol Hydrochloride, and Guaiphenesin syrup is a productive and asthmatic cough syrup. It is used to treat mucus cough. It is also recommended for asthmatic patients. It is an oral medicine that is taken by mouth a maximum of three times a day. This combination can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea as side effects. 

It is a unique combination of three different category ingredients. Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator in class. It relaxes the muscles in the airways which makes breathing easy. Another ingredient Ambroxol is a mucolytic drug that helps to break down mucus and make it easier to cough out. Cozicof-LS syrup is a Levosalbutamol sulfate, Ambroxol hydrochloride, and Guaiphenesin syrup which is a potent cough syrup in asthmatic patients and old age patients. It contains Levosalbutamol 1mg which is very effective in patients who feel breathing halts during cough, Ambroxol 30 mg present in the syrup dilutes the mucus or phlegm which blocks the airways of breathing. Guaiphenesin is an expectorant that allows breathing smoothly and keeps the airways smooth.

Indications of this combination are productive cough, cough with phlegm, allergy cough, asthmatic cough, and cough due to dust.
