A valid driving license is also a common requirement.

Companies may also look to appoint candidates with a background in sales and having the capacity to learn about Pharma and medicine details. In India, a Medical representative starting salary ranges between 3.0 Lac per annul to 5.0 Lac per annum.  At the start of the carrier, big companies like Cipla, Sun Pharmaceuticals,  Cadila, Macleoads, etc. provide a higher salary, but later on, in the carrier small and medium-sized companies provide better packages. As soon as an individual is promoted to a senior post their salary range increase in a double-digit percentage every year. This carrier has not limited in salary.  

In Western countries Like Britain, Starting salaries for Medical representatives usually range from £18,000 to £24,000. As a Medical representative gets experience he can grab between £25,000 and £40,000. Although salaries for managers' posts and senior-level roles start at about £40,000.
