GCYP PLUS is Cyproheptadine Tricholine citrate syrup which is an appetite-stimulant. Gcyp plus reduces the effect of a chemical messenger named serotonin present in the hypothalamus, which is a part of the brain which has the function to regulate the appetite. Tricholine citrate present in Gcyp Plus is a bile acid-binding agent that removes bile acids from the body.

GCYP PLUS cyproheptadine is used to increase appetite deficiency or hunger and also used to weight gain.
The role of Tricholine Citrate in GCYP Plus is that Tricholine is a bile acid-binding agent which removes bile acids from the body then the liver produces more bile acid using cholesterol, therefore, the levels of cholesterol in the body come down.
SIDE EFFECTS OF CYPROHEPTADINE:
The main side effects of Cyproheptadine tricholine citrate syrup are drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision, constipation, and dry mouth/nose/throat may occur in a few cases.
