Pantoprazole + Domperidone is the combination of two molecules namely Pantoprazole and Domperidone. This fixed dose composition is used to treat various diseases like acidity, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), or heartburn. It is a condition where acid present in the stomach flows back into the food pipes' esophagus.

How Pantoprazole and Domperidone works?

Domperidone + Pantoprazole is a combination drug that works by increasing stomach movement and reducing stomach acid, relieving GERD, heartburn, and indigestion.

Pantafon-D Tablet's Packing

Pantafon-D tablet comes in the packing of 15 tablets in an alu alu strip, and 10 strips in a dripoff box. 

Pantoprazole and Domperidone Tablets Uses

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a condition in which stomach acid backs up into the food pipe (esophagus). This can cause heartburn, chest pain, and difficulty swallowing. Pantoprazole and Domperidone tablet helps to reduce the amount of stomach acid produced, which can relieve the symptoms of GERD
• Heartburn is a burning sensation in the chest that occurs when stomach acid backs up into the esophagus. It can help in relieving heartburn by reducing the amount of stomach acid produced.
• Esophagitis is an inflammation of the food pipe (esophagus). This can be caused by GERD, excessive alcohol consumption, or certain medications. This tablet can help to reduce the inflammation and pain associated with esophagitis.
• A peptic ulcer is a break in the lining of the stomach or small intestine. Peptic ulcers can be caused by a number of factors, including infection with the H. pylori bacteria, excessive use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and smoking.
• Panta+Dom tablet is helpful in healing peptic ulcers by reducing the amount of stomach acid produced.

It is important to note that the PANTOPRAZOLE+DOMPERIDONE tablet is not a cure for any of these conditions. It is a treatment that can help to relieve the symptoms and improve the quality of life for people with these conditions.

Manufacturing of Pantafon-D tablet

Pantafon D tablet is manufactured by a WHO-GMP-certified company with a high level of hygiene condition maintained, following the guidelines WHO-GMP for manufacturing of drugs for oral use. A proper well-developed master formula (MFR) is followed during the whole manufacturing process of the tablet. Every step of manufacturing is registered in the BPR of the product. In the process, tests of the product are conducted to rule out any quality issues in the product.

The product is issued for sale in the market after complete quality checkups for its content and microbiological tests for its hygiene conditions compliance.

Drug Warnings of Pantoprazole+ Domperidone tablets

Do not take DOMPERIDONE+PANTOPRAZOLE if you are:

• Allergic to DOMPERIDONE+PANTOPRAZOLE or proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)
• Have gastric cancer
• Have liver disease
• Have low magnesium levels (osteoporosis)
• Have low vitamin B12 levels
• Pregnant or planning to become pregnant
• Breastfeeding

DOMPERIDONE+PANTOPRAZOLE may interact with the following medications:

• Blood thinners (warfarin)
• Antifungals (ketoconazole)
• Anti-HIV drugs (atazanavir, nelfinavir)
• Iron supplements
• Ampicillin antibiotic
• Anti-cancer drugs (methotrexate)

If you are taking any of these medications, talk to your doctor before taking DOMPERIDONE+PANTOPRAZOLE.

Prolonged use of DOMPERIDONE+PANTOPRAZOLE may cause the following side effects:

• Lupus erythematosus (an inflammatory condition in which the immune system attacks its own tissues)
• Vitamin B12 deficiency
• Magnesium deficiency

DOMPERIDONE+PANTOPRAZOLE may mask the symptoms of gastric cancer. If you experience any of the following symptoms, see your doctor right away:

• Severe stomach pain
• Gastric bleeding (blood in mucus or stool)
